Manic Street Preachers

Manic Street Preachers é uma banda de rock alternativo formada no País de Gales em 1986. Os amigos de escola James Dean Bradfield (vocais e guitarras), Nicky Wire (baixo) e Sean Moore (bateria) decidiram pelo nome de Betty Blue (título em inglês do filme 37°2 le matin de Jean-Jacques Beineix estrelado por Béatrice Dalle no papel de Betty.), mas antes mesmo de lançar o primeiro single, o trio adotou Manic Street Preachers. A banda ja tem 9 discos lançados, irei postar meus tres preferidos ... Uma curiosidade : em 2001 num show realizado no Teatro Karl Marx, em Cuba, transformando o Manics na primeira banda ocidental a se apresentar na ilha socialista e ainda com Fidel Castro na platéia. Diz a lenda que James tentou avisar Fidel que o show seria muito barulhento. "Não será mais barulhento que a guerra", foi a resposta. haha depois dessa hein ... até a próxima session, abraço!
